ANTI SLIP

Before

The photo showcases a balcony that appears worn and in disrepair, likely due to extensive water damage and frequent foot traffic. The flooring is uneven and stained, with visible signs of water leakage that have caused discoloration and deterioration. To address these issues, an Anti Slip System needs to be installed, enhancing safety for frequent use. Additionally, Lava 20 waterproofing system will be applied to prevent future water damage and prolong the longevity of the balcony surface

With Lava 20

Here's a look at the balcony after applying the Lava 20 Waterproofing system. It’s now completely watertight and super durable—basically bulletproof for the next 25 years. The surface looks smooth and clean, with no signs of the previous damage. Since this area gets a lot of foot traffic, the next step is to add an anti-slip coating to make it even safer for everyone using it.

With Anti Slip System

After applying the Lava 20 Waterproofing System and allowing it to dry, Lava 20 Clear Top Coat was added, followed by sprinkling some quartz. Once the surface was fully cured, the excess quartz was hoovered away, leaving a finish that is both slip-resistant and waterproof. The balcony now looks modern and stylish, ready to handle heavy foot traffic safely and effectively.

FLAT ROOF - NEW

Before

The photo features an OSB-installed timber roof in a housing estate. The OSB panels are all set in place, and we've got the trims and outlets installed just right, as you can see in the picture.

With Lava 20

The photo shows beautifully finished OSB timber roof after applying the Lava 20 waterproofing system. Every joint and corner has been carefully reinforced and taped with Lava 20 and matting. Two coats of Lava 20 was applied, ensuring it is completely watertight and protected for the next 25 years. The surface looks smooth and well-sealed!

With Dark Grey Top Coat (Optional)

After curing the Lava 20 waterproofing system, we applied Lava 20 dark grey top coat, giving the roof an aesthetically pleasing and durable finish. The dark grey top coat enhances the overall look and adds an extra layer of protection. This top coat is optional and can be used over the Lava 20 system or on its own over Lava 20 Fast Primer, providing a versatile range of aesthetic and functional finishes.

SLOPED ROOFS

Before

This awkwardly shaped old fiberglass roof was leaking and needed a water tight protection. The photo indicates the cleaning process of this large roof to remove any dirt and debris to make sure the Lava 20 waterproofing system goes on smoothly. Prepping the surface like this is key to make sure the roof gets a solid, watertight finish.

With Lava 20

Here's a look at the roof after we finished the job with the Lava 20 Waterproofing system. It looks fantastic and is now completely waterproof, essentially bulletproof for the next 25 years. The surface is smooth and sealed, ready to handle whatever comes its way.

With Dark Grey Top Coat (Optional):

To achieve a sleek and aesthetic finish, Lava 20 Dark Grey top coat was applied to the roof. While using this top coat is optional, it provides a decorative and color-stable finish that significantly enhances the durability of the coating. The result is a stylish, long-lasting roof that looks great and offers extra protection.

BALCONIES / TERRACES

Before

This images feature an asphalt terrace with a long staircase. Given its nature, it is crucial that the surface, especially the stairs, remains slip-resistant. The terrace on the right side is currently being prepped for the job, ensuring a thorough cleaning and priming process before applying the necessary treatments.

With Lava 20

In these photos, the Lava 20 System, along with the optional Dark Grey Top Coat, has been applied to both the terrace and the stairs. The Dark Grey Top Coat was used on the borders of the stairs to create a striking color contrast and enhance the aesthetic appeal. The terrace is now 100% waterproof, showcasing a sleek and polished finish. The next step is to make the surface slip-resistant, essential for handling the heavy foot traffic in this area.

With Anti-Slip Finish (Optional)

The photo shows the finished terrace and stairs, now completely slip-resistant. We used Gunmetal quartz with a dark grey top coat on the terrace and the same quartz with a clear top coat in the middle of the stairs. This terrace looks amazing and comes with a 25-year waterproof warranty. The stairs look great too, with the color contrast between the quartz and the dark grey borders. We have a bunch of color options for the quartz, so you can customize the look however you like.

PEDESTRIANS DECKS / STAIRS

Before

This photo shows the concrete stairs at the entrance of a housing estate. The surface is made of concrete, which is prone to leaking and requires slip resistance due to heavy foot traffic. The image highlights the need for waterproofing and slip resistance to ensure safety and durability for residents and visitors.

With Lava 20

In this image, we have treated half of the concrete stairs with the Lava 20 System. After allowing it to cure, we applied Lava 20 Clear Top Coat and sprinkled quartz over it. From left to right, you can observe the untreated concrete, the fully waterproofed section in the middle, and the completed anti-slip system on the right.

With Anti-Slip Finish (Optional)

This photo shows the concrete stairs after completing the full job with the Lava 20 System. The entire surface is now 100% waterproof and slip-resistant, ensuring durability and safety for the next 25 years. The stairs have a sleek, finished look with a uniform texture, thanks to the Lava 20 Clear Top Coat and quartz application.

WALK WAYS

Before

This photo shows the walkway of a hotel. Due to heavy foot traffic from both staff and guests, making slip resistance is a top priority. In the image, we can see the initial phase of the project: the surface has been thoroughly cleaned and dried, the joints and corners have been reinforced, and primer has already been applied. The walkway is now prepped and ready for the next steps of waterproofing with Lava 20, ensuring a safe and durable finish.

With Lava 20

Now, the walkway surface has been coated with Lava 20, making it resistant to water damage and leaks. However, the surface is currently too smooth and not yet ready for the heavy foot traffic it will experience. After the Lava 20 cures, we'll move on to the next step: applying an anti-slip finish. A quick tip: if you need faster drying times, use Lava Accelerators with Lava 20.

With Anti Slip Finish

This walkway is now 100% slip-resistant. We've applied a Lava 20 Clear top coat over the surface and sprinkled Barn Owl Quartz on it for added texture and safety. The result is a durable, slip-resistant walkway that's ready for heavy foot traffic. Different color options for the quartz are available, but Barn Owl Quartz was chosen for this project, giving the walkway a unique and appealing finish.
